Social media! Today, it can be such a powerful tool to raise grand awareness on some of the most important issues faced in our communities.

If you have Facebook, Twitter--you name it, you can help the TYP RSM Coalition by posting and sharing our videos, articles and other materials that cover TYP.

The support shown by those who have signed and shared the petition is great! We would love to see the numbers increase as the petition continues to circulate. You too can help fight to secure the future of TYP today!

If you would like to make a monetary contribution to help preserve TYP, this is the place to get you started. All proceeds go towards TYP preservation funding and initiatives.

GET INVOLVED

You can get involved with TYP by volunteering your time and efforts. The TYP RSM Coalition has held several rallies, Town Halls, Community BBQs and workshops that were made possible with the support of volunteers and supporters who helped to organize and facilitate such initiatives.

All are welcome! If you are great at event coordination, have strong administration and communication skills, are experienced in grassroots organizing or are innovative and creative, there's always ways for you to contribute to the coalition.

REACH THE KEY PLAYERS

There are key people in our communities who play a role in decision making and informing the public. Some include local government officials, community organizations, and local media. Try contacting them via email, phone or in person regarding TYP if you are concerned.

Preserving TYP is a great cause and the more people learn about the history of TYP and its present state and possible future, it is likely that U of T will respond to the questions and concerns of the staff, students, and the public as awareness grows.

Another way to influence the decision making process at the university is by emailing the U of T Provost, Cheryl Misak, expressing your concerns.
